Update on COVID-19
20 March 2022
We are pleased to announce that effective from 27 Mar, our 3 worship services will no longer be restricted by zones and safe distancing requirement. There is no longer a need to register for passes to attend any of the 3 services, and our worship halls capacity have returned to pre-covid levels. Worshippers are still required to be masked on and to sing silently. However, song leaders are now able to sing live and lead congregation in response to God.
Pre-school and Primary Sunday School will resume onsite from 27 Mar.
We look forward to seeing more returning to church for onsite worship safely. Christian life is a communal life. We gather as a community sharing a common faith in Christ Jesus. “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more…” (Hebrews 10:25)
Update on COVID-19
26 December 2021
GPC ES is gearing up to transition into a “stabilizing phase”. Starting from 16 Jan 2022 -
GPC ES will be resuming 3 worship services every Sunday with capacity of 160 worshippers in each service. The 4.00pm service which we were planning earlier will not be implemented. The 3 services are 7.30am (Sanctuary), 9.30am (Chapel) and 11.30am (Chapel). 9.30am service will be live streamed @ gpc.sg/onlineworship. In line with the vaccinated - differentiated rules set by the government, only those who are fully vaccinated, exempted or not qualified to be vaccinated can attend any of the 3 services onsite.
Due to various constraints, we are unable to hold a service which opens for the unvaccinated. For time being, we encourage the unvaccinated to join the 9.30am service online and be part of the corporate worship. Pastoral support with GPConnect will be reaching out.
Registration for passes for the 3 services will start on every Sunday 1pm for the following Sunday worship services. Full details can be found in website https://glorypresbyterian.net.
Please contact church office if you can offer your time to serve in any of the 3 services.
The church office will be staffed with rostered personnel onsite. Opening hours of office are 9am to 5pm (Tue to Sat), 7.30am to 1pm (Sun). The office remains close on Mon and public holidays.
Fellowship and other classes will be able to resume onsite but in a careful and calibrated manner. The respective leaders will update and inform their ministry flock.
With the recent emergence of the Omicron variant, we must continue to stay vigilant while learning to live with the virus as “new normal”. Living prayerfully is the “vaccine” for spiritual health. We look forward to seeing more returning to church for onsite worship. Stay safe and know God is with us.
